River Forest

River Forest is a large 1,700 acre development comprising 625 single family lots. The community features an 18 hole championship golf course, a 65 acre equestrian center and 400 acres of green space. This is the largest and most elaborate master planned community in Monroe County. The property is approximately 50% built out and occupied.  

 

River Forest is located 1 mile east of I-75 in Monroe County and 15 minutes south of McDonough. Access from I-75 is along Johnsonville Road at Exit 193. A large stacked stone wall and a waterfall mark the entry to the guardhouse of this gated community.

 

These 2 lots are fully developed with treed sites suitable for basement or slab foundation construction. Individual septic systems are required for each lot. Gas is propane. Lot A-63 backs onto the 8th hole of the golf course, B-61 onto the 2nd hole and E-15 onto the 13th hole.
